During my stay, the hotel had clean and inviting rooms, but they were not very soundproof which made noises from other rooms and the street quite loud. The lack of insulation also contributed to the noise levels. The service was not professional, yet the staff was friendly and tried hard to please the guests. The location was fine, conveniently situated across the street from the Fox Theatre and within reasonable distance to major tourist destinations. Although the tiny bathrooms were a downside, the area offered a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. The dining experience was extra, even without a breakfast. Overall, the hotel provided an okay value for the money.
